Supersedes all Previous Policies
Subject to your satisfaction with all conditions for warranty, Sulfex hereby provides a limited warranty on manufacturing defects concerning workmanship and material. At Sulfex’s discretion, your mattress may be repaired, reconstructed, or replaced at no cost. The warranty term without any fee/charge is one year from the date of purchase, as indicated on the receipt. After one year, Sulfex may provide repair, reconstruction, or replacement services for a service fee, as specified hereafter. It is important to note that the term of the free warranty shall not be extended after any act of repair or replacement of a mattress by Sulfex.
Major Mattress Complaints with Warranty Details:
1. Sagging of Support Material in Mattress (Coir/Spring): Free Replacement if it is a Manufacturing Defect
2. Quilt Torn or Bump: Free Replacement if it is a Manufacturing Defect
3. Side Stitch Bulging (Due to Customer Misuse or Unawareness): Stitching Cost will be charged
4. Foul Smell from Mattress: Free Replacement if it is a Manufacturing Defect
5. Ant Infestation on Mattress: Free Replacement if it is a Manufacturing Defect
6. Customer Changing Their Minds: Free Replacement within 7 days from Delivery. After 7 days, the Company will charge Transportation costs to the Customer.
7. Mistake in Measurement of Mattress (Length/Width/Height): Additional Charges will be added
8. Cloth Damage due to Improper Usage by Customer: Additional Charge will be Added.
9. In the event of rat bites or any damage caused by rodents to the mattress, Sulfex Mattress reserves the right to charge customers accordingly for repair or replacement. This includes damages such as gnawing, tearing, or any destruction inflicted by rats or similar pests. Customers are encouraged to take preventive measures, and any damages caused by external factors, including rat bites, will be subject to additional charges as determined by Sulfex Mattress.
Cloth Damage and Sagging Clause:
The mattresses produced by Sulfex Mattress may incorporate cloth materials that are either purchased directly or outsourced from reputable suppliers or manufacturers. Sulfex Mattress acknowledges that despite rigorous quality control measures, unforeseen circumstances may lead to cloth damage. In the event of cloth damage, Sulfex Mattress commits to addressing the issue promptly and efficiently.
Coverage:
Cloth damage arising from manufacturing defects: Sulfex Mattress guarantees coverage for any cloth damage directly resulting from manufacturing defects. This includes but is not limited to stitching issues, material flaws, or any other imperfections that compromise the integrity of the cloth.
Damage during transportation or handling: Sulfex Mattress acknowledges that damage may occur during transportation or handling. Therefore, cloth damage incurred during these processes will be covered, provided that proper handling procedures were followed and documented.
Duration of Coverage: This cloth damage coverage extends for a period of 5 days from the date of purchase. During this period, customers may report cloth damage issues to Sulfex Mattress for evaluation and resolution.
Mattress Sagging Tolerance: Sulfex Mattress recognizes that a certain degree of sagging is normal in mattresses over time. Between 1 to 2 years from the date of purchase, a sagging of 5-10% is considered within normal limits and is not covered by the warranty. Beyond this period, the warranty will be applicable only for sagging beyond 10%.
Mattress Sagging Tolerance: Between 2 to 5 years from the date of purchase, Sulfex Mattress acknowledges that a thickness sagging of 10-20% is considered normal wear and tear. Warranty coverage for thickness sagging will be applicable only for sagging beyond 20%.
Exclusions:
This coverage does not extend to cloth damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accidents, alterations, or any unauthorized repairs or modifications. Additionally, damages incurred beyond the specified coverage period will not be eligible for coverage.
Claim Procedure:
Customers must submit a detailed claim, including photographic evidence of the cloth damage, to Sulfex Mattress’s customer service department within the warranty period after discovering the issue. Upon receipt of the claim, Sulfex Mattress will assess the damage and, at its discretion, provide a suitable resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or compensation.
Unforeseen Events and Repair Charges:
In the case of unforeseen events or circumstances not covered explicitly by this clause, Sulfex Mattress reserves the right to charge customers for cloth repairs. Such events may include but are not limited to accidental damage, misuse, or any alterations made by the customer.
Sulfex Mattress will provide customers with a transparent breakdown of repair charges, if applicable, before proceeding with any repairs. The customer’s consent will be obtained before initiating repairs that may incur additional charges.
Sulfex Mattress retains the right to make the final determination regarding the validity of a cloth damage claim, the need for repairs, and the appropriate course of action.

7th Year– If Problem arises in Cloth or Quilt – 90% of Repair Cost will be charged
7th Year – If Problem arises in Coir/Spring – 90% of Repair Cost will be charged
Conditions and Exclusions:
a. Sulfex reserves the right to refuse repair or replacement for products returned in an unsuitable condition.
b. The warranty is non-transferable.
c. To claim the warranty, the mattress must be registered within 20 days from the date of purchase in the Warranty Registration Page of Sulfex Mattress link – warranty.sulfexmattress.com
d. Proper usage of the product is essential for warranty validity.
e. Warranty is valid only for products purchased from Sulfex Dealers and Authorized Sulfex Outlets.
f. End users cannot correct any parts themselves.
g. Currently, we do not offer inspection services for mattresses, furniture, and accessories at Doorsteps. For any special cases where we can provide services, the customer must pay a visit charge of Rs. 500/- per visit in Metro and Rs. 800/- in Non-metro in advance.
h. This warranty policy shall be effective from the 1st of Dec 2023 and supersedes any and all previous policy/ies, whether written or oral.
i. The final decision of the warranty will be made by Sulfex Mattress Co.
j. Disputes, if any, are subject to Taliparamba jurisdiction.
Conditions for Warranty:
The warranty for the product shall be provided only if the following conditions are met by you.
• You provide all necessary documents relating to ownership and/or possession of the mattress.
• You are in possession of a valid, original receipt or invoice, evidencing the purchase of the mattress by you.
• You have in your possession a warranty card for the mattress, duly registered with Sulfex, bearing the stamp and signature of the seller of the mattress.
• The original, valid MRP stickers have not been tampered with or destroyed.
• You are in possession of a valid, original receipt or invoice, evidencing the purchase of the mattress by you.
